Thanks for Visiting
I just wanted to express my shock and amazement that I actually have people to regularly read this blog. According to Google and FeedBurner, I have about 40 visitors a day, and 65 people who subscribe to this via an RSS feed. They're small, modest numbers I know. But surprising to me nonetheless.
So my question to you is: What would you like to see more posts about? General iLiad information? More technically informative posts? Status updates and future plans? I generally only post when I have something big, but if you want more updates, I can do that too.

New and updated software available to the iLiad would be nice. The odd tip now and again would be good too.
I also check Mobileread and iRex forums but it's difficult to keep up to date with everything that's going on so it's nice when Google Reader tells me there is something new on your blog.
Thanks!
I am a RSS subscriber and i really enjoy all posts regarding the iLiad. What i'm interested in right now is how Kindle is affecting the ebook market... I'm a much bigger fan of the iLiad than of Kindle and not considering buying a Kindle as is. Because of that i'm disappointed that Mobipocket books are often twice as expensive as Kindle books, and hoping for a reduction of prices there.
I just wanted to let you know i'm here, paying attention and I appreciate your contribution to the iLiad community.
Since i started writing this comment - I thought of two questions if I may,
1. I have a "virgin" iLiad, and i haven't made any modifications to it. However i would like to install 3rd party software but haven't found any a-z manual how to go about doing it, only bits and pieces i can't really make sense out of ... Can you point me to a manual to install software like FBreader from a virginized iLiad?
2. I haven't found a way to go directly to a certain page in the default reading software, which i find really weird. Is this possible, and if so, how?
Thank you so much
I'd agree w/ phil that the forums aren't a really great way to keep up w developments and new apps/updates.
I like the developer focus and it'd be nice to highlight things that otherwise would just disappear (ie, the 2.6 kernel nalim hacked up - you wouldn't know about it unless you were subscribed to the thread).
Tips (development or usage) would be neat as well. There's very little information summarizing getting started w/ the VM or even very basic things like loading the unbrickable package up.
Gudbergur: this might help you get started: http://wiki.mobileread.com/wiki/Iliad_Software but it does need some work... it doesn't include CF flash instructions and is sort of incomplete. (being a comprehensive list and dividing up installers vs other types of apps?) It might be nice to reformat that page into something more useful...
Thanks Adam for all your efforts. After seeing your contributions to the iLiad software development, I'm assured that this toy has much potential and decided to get one.
My iLiad has arrived for a few days. I have installed some of the applications you developed. It is fantastics! I love it so much. So, thanks again!!
Iliad development stuff & information on the community project currently getting started!
G'day Adam, I just got an iLiad and googled my way to your shell access tutorial. Just wanted to say thanks, and echo some other comments: it's tough for a n00b making sense of all the forum traffic, some basic instruction like this is great.
