Still, as I said, I think there are lots of new things that could be done. And you might consider compiling all of the the programs into one easy-to-install-or-uninstall package, with a few bugs fixed and some options enabled by default (like, automatically make the registry change to enable FBReader to start from the Contentlister).

Very, very nice work.

I also would like to know what you use for reading...

I also would like to know what you use for reading html? And do you mean browsing web pages over the network, or simply reading local web pages?

I could give you a laundry list of things that could be very useful on the iLiad, including a new ContentLister (although I think rincewind is working on one too), better-featured "notes" program with power management, calendar/appointment program...

And really, it would be nice to set things up so that more than one program can be open at once, and we simply switch between them.

In other words, now that you've improved functionality, how about improving the UI?

But in addition, I'd like to suggest that I would love to use the suite of programs you've ported. I don't know which ones besides the FBReader, though, and I haven't gotten around to combing the forums to assemble them. Why not put all of your programs together into one installer, and call it "Adam's iLiad Power-Up Package" (or something like that)? I already have FBReader, but I'd love to get it all.

Lastly, in using FBReader I have noticed a few places in which it seems to hang, or bugs that could be improved. You could open the door for suggestions... Personally I was thinking it might be nice to set up a code server with svn and bugzilla (or make a project on sourceforge) as a central clearinghouse for iLiad ports and programming projects.

That's quite a list.... anything strike your fancy?

As a new user, I have three thoughts:
First, ho...

As a new user, I have three thoughts:
First, how can I find out how you accomplished being able to use all those file formats?
Second, it seems there are several other functions that would work well in the Iliad. For instance, how about a search function to find authors and key words embedded in pdf's and other files? Another need is a more powerful and flexible way to take notes. I currently use Evernote for most notetaking, but I would use the Iliad more if the note application had more features and made it easier to get the notes into other applications.
Third, how about reading on the Iliad now?
